Our teachers are experts with modifications, so that the class fits your body instead of your body struggling to fit the class. Whether you are looking to begin a practice or deepen the practice you already have, we invite you to partner with us in caring for your body.

What to Wear & What to Bring: Wear comfortable clothes you can stretch in. Sweats and a t-shirt work fine! We provide mats and props, though you are always welcome to bring your own.

HaLé Yoga integrates movement, breath, and awareness to connect you to yourself and cultivate health. Students at all levels will appreciate this blend of breathwork and movement as we strengthen, relax, and stretch the body and the mind. This is a practice, not a performance, so feel free to turn inward, explore your body-mind connection, and discover new levels of practice for yourself.

Classes are aimed toward understanding the Self through proper alignment of the physical body in a wide variety of yoga postures. Yoga props are used to accommodate stiffness, pain or injury. The mind is actively engaged in making corrections to the postures so that the body and mind learn to work more efficiently. Classes will blend strength and flexibility, effort and ease, movement and stillness.

MELT Method Wellness combines self-massage, hydrating connective tissue, and MELT Method movement to ease pain and stiffness and move into new ways of moving. Less strenuous than yoga, this class uses small therapy balls on the hands and feet and a soft foam roller to simulate the effects of manual therapy. These simple self-treatments effectively release tension in the neck and shoulders, diaphragm, and pelvic girdle, helping you stay active, healthy, and pain-free.

A nurturing class to decompress the body and mind, our Restorative Yoga class combines comfortable and supported yoga poses with mindfulness and meditation practices. This combination, along with gentle rhythmic breathing, relaxes the mind, restores the body, and releases layer after layer of accumulated tension. Most of us are in constant fast forward motion. This class is a space to slow down and cultivate stillness in order to create health.

Come join in the movement to Reclaim Strength, Length, and Joy.  In Mindful movement lessons, you  will rock, roll, crawl, oscillate & vibrate to remind you of the ease and agility that are waiting to be learned or renewed.  Dynamic activity, variety, and slow deep listening to self are needed to restore our movement possibilities– which in turn restore our sense of happiness and power. Shortcuts to alignment, awareness, distribution of effort and improved use of self will all be included. Principles and strategies sourced from Feldenkrais®, and other somatic methods.
