Restorative Yoga      Fri 9:15-10:30 am w/ Susie Dendtler

BOOK ONLINE

A nurturing class to decompress the body and mind, Restorative Yoga uses props like blankets, bolsters, & blocks to bring the body into comfortable & supported Yoga poses. These poses along with attention to the breath allow us to fully relax and release layer after layer of unnecessary stress and tension to create healing in our busy, often stressful daily lives. Most of us are in constant fast forward motion. This class is a space to slow down and cultivate stillness which is essential to our overall well being.

Tai Chi & Qigong     Thurs 6:00-7:00 pm w/Elmo Shade

BOOK ONLINE

Combines movement, breathing, and visualization to cultivate the body’s energy. This gentle exercise, sometimes referred to as ‘meditation with movement’, initiates the relaxation response, decreasing heart rate and blood pressure while enhancing the efficiency of the body’s immune system. “Qi” is translated as energy and “Gong” (pronounced ‘Gung’) translates as skill, so literally “skilled energy.”

Vitality, Awareness, & Ease     Thurs 10:00-11:15 am w/Katherine Correa

BOOK ONLINE

Come join in the movement to Reclaim Strength, Length, and Joy.  In Mindful movement lessons, you  will rock, roll, crawl, oscillate & vibrate to remind you of the ease and agility that are waiting to be learned or renewed.  Dynamic activity, variety, and slow deep listening to self are needed to restore our movement possibilities– which in turn restore our sense of happiness and power. Shortcuts to alignment, awareness, distribution of effort and improved use of self will all be included. Principles and strategies sourced from Feldenkrais(R), and other somatic methods.

Yoga for All Levels    Mon & Wed: 12:00-12:50 w/Liz Trinkler; 5:30-6:30 pm w/ Julie Eliserio

BOOK ONLINE

Develop a body-mind connection with movement, breath, and awareness. Students at all levels will appreciate this blend of breathwork and movement. This is a practice, not a performance, so feel free to turn inwards, explore your body-mind connection, and discover new levels of practice for yourself.

Yoga All Levels: Core Development     Tues 5:30-6:30 pm w/Colleen Fowlkes

BOOK ONLINE

Use breath and specific poses to strengthen the core and find safe and supported freedom of movement. By intelligently utilizing the postural muscles you will find greater expansion and connection to the body and its capacity to process movement. This brings about balance and strength and guarantees free movement of the breath, which allows further development of relaxation. Expect to build deep core strength with seated, standing, and wall postures, ending with softness and relaxation of the entire system.

Yoga All Levels: Flow    Mon & Wed 9:30-10:30 am  w/Celeste Greene (Mon) & Harriet Workman (Wed)

BOOK ONLINE

This vinyasa flow class coordinates the movement with the breath as we move from one pose to the next. This all levels class will connect the poses thoughtfully and creatively for strengthening, relaxing and stretching the body and the mind. The class will engage students as we connect our physical practices on the mat to each of our lives off the mat, while empowering each student to make the practice the student’s own.
