Warming the Heart: Meditation Series with Creative Art Making
January 9 - 30 2019
For teens and young adults
Four classes: Wednesday evenings 6-8 pm, January 9, 16, 23, & 30
Bring a journal and pen
For peace and inspiration, relaxation and transformation. Marla will guide you through several types of meditation, which you will be able to continue on your own beyond our classes. Creative visualization with positive affirmations and chakra focus, breathing mindfully, and full body relaxation are part of each session. Participants will reflect in their journals, and then we will have a different guided art experience each class. The first hour will be spent in guided mediation, and the second hour will be in guided art making.
Breathe into a new way of being, and release old thought habits through conscious awareness. No experience necessary. Come, still your monkey mind, find your Center and your truth, and open your mind to hear your authentic self.
