Cultivating Body Mind Connection with Breema

with Katherine Correa             Sept 10th 9:30-12:30 am & 2:00-5:00 pm

We will be doing Breema® bodywork, Self-Breema exercises and working with the Nine Principles of Harmony. These provide opportunities for practicing body-mind connection—the first step towards an actual taste of presence.

The Breema Atmosphere, mutually beneficial touch, gentle stretches, and rhythmic movements nurture balance (physical, mental, and emotional). It supports us to let go of conditioned patterns, leading to new and more natural ways of moving, thinking, and feeling. And Breema’s natural movements are nurturing and energizing for both the giver and receiver; so everyone (not just the one receiving) is refreshed and balanced by the practice.

Breema is so difficult to explain. You truly need to have a taste of it to experience how profoundly you can touch and be touched by life. And- how simple it is. LIfe truly is magic happening when we are receptive and present in the moment. READ MORE:

This class is ideal for everyone who would like to have a way to bring more presence, balance and nurturing to daily life, home life, or professional practice.

No prior experience Necessary.
*You need to be comfortable working on a padded floor.*

Yamuna Body Rolling® and Sustainable Movement

with Meg Whitbread               Oct 14-15th           4 Segments over 2 days

Yamuna® Body Rolling (YBR®) is an intelligent self-care modality based on experiential anatomy and yoga principles that allows you to get underneath your compensatory habits and imbalances so that you can recover from injury and / or improve posture and increase the efficiency in your body mechanics.
The weekend is laid out in four segments so you are welcome to participate in any segment or join for the the whole weekend. In each segment, we use various sized balls and focus on particular areas of the body to help activate what is underused and reduce the impact on what is overused. We move slowly and organically to release tension in the body, rebalance muscles and realign joints. For information on this modality, please visit

Participating in all four segments allows for a deep somatic reorganization.

Segment 1: Alignment, Balance & Gait Saturday 12-2pm, $40

We start with an exploration of the feet and legs, looking at alignment in standing and walking to uncover patterns in other types of movement.

Segment 2: Freedom & Stability     Saturday 2:30-5:30pm, $60

We feel how the legs impact the hips and pelvis. We create space in the hip and SI joints to bring back a sense of space and containment.

Segment 3: Tension versus StrengthSunday 10am-12noon, $40

We see how to set the tone of the whole body by finding balance between engaging and relaxing in individual joints and muscles.

Segment 4: Finding Center     Sunday 12:30-4:30pm, $75

We experience the relationship between spine and organs and how we can undo patterns in order to move our arms and legs from the connection and strength of the core.

 This workshop repeats Feb 24 & 25, 2018.
