Yamuna® Body Rolling & Sustainable Movement: Winter Mini Workshops

                                     with Meg Whitbread        Feb 17 & 18

Yamuna® Body Rolling (YBR®) is an intelligent self-care modality based on experiential anatomy and yoga principles that allows you to get underneath your compensatory habits and imbalances so that you can recover from injury and / or improve posture and increase the efficiency in your body mechanics.

The mini workshops are open to all levels of health and designed to help you become more aware and more sustainable in your body no matter what you do or how you use it. Through Yamuna® Body Rolling routines, yoga, simple movement and experiential anatomy, we will explore the muscles, bones, joints, organs and glands to uncover and re-activate their relationships. Through breathing and meditation practices, you can unpeel the layers of yourself to remember who you are.

Rather than taking on a new modality or learning a new technique, we will use different tools so you can experience your own anatomy and feel how you operate. You can begin to recognize that the texture of your movement, your breathing, and your thinking is similar so that the gap between body and mind decreases. From this place, you may be able to shift your nervous system from the reactive fight or flight state to the more receptive rest and settle state, letting life unfold with less stress and less effort. When you surrender to the inside you find your own unique path back to your natural state of health and well being.
