Erin Law is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Somatic Movement Educator, Improviser, Choreographer, and Performance Artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, she graduated from the Mind Body Institute, a Nashville-based Massage Therapy School, in February 2016. Erin comes from a 13-year career in professional and academic dance and holds a Certification in Movement Analysis (LMA/BF from the University of Utah), as well as a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from Smith College. Her experience in dance, kinesiology, and somatics (mind-body training), coupled with her past training for the half marathon, have taught her the importance of maintaining a healthy and happy body for optimum performance. Massage and bodywork have always been an integral part of her life as someone who is invested in physicality, and she is overjoyed to now be able to provide therapeutic relief for other athletes and dancers.
Erin finds great satisfaction in collaborating with a diverse array of clients and specifically enjoys working with athletes and dancers to address each person’s particular needs. She delights in employing and combining stretching and massage techniques from Swedish, Thai, Ashiatsu, Cupping Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and is constantly seeking ways to broaden her skills.
