Tai Chi & Qigong    w/Elmo Shade

This class combines movement, breathing, and visualization to cultivate the body’s energy. This gentle exercise, sometimes referred to as ‘meditation with movement’, initiates the relaxation response, decreasing heart rate and blood pressure while enhancing the efficiency of the body’s immune system. “Qi” is translated as energy and “Gong” (pronounced ‘Gung’) translates as skill, so literally “skilled energy.”

Individual and Relationship Psychotherapy

Grounded in mindfulness principles and cognitive-behavioral concepts, HaLé psychotherapy sessions support becoming more aware in order to better manage thoughts and emotions, to make positive changes, and to find clarity about critical life decisions. This especially supports recovery from loss, addiction, trauma, relationship/marriage adversity, anxiety, and depression, and helps to navigate life transitions like work/life balance, marriage/divorce/remarriage, and health and aging.

Sessions can be in the office or happen as a Walk and Talk on quiet residential sidewalks.

We offer 30 min Health Consultations for $30, available in person or over the phone. This is a great way to talk with a Holistic Health expert about what is going on with your body and how we can best partner with you to address it. We will help develop a treatment plan and direct you to the classes and therapies that will best support you. We have a lot of options and it can feel overwhelming sometimes to get started. Let us help you find the therapies that will deepen your health and be of greatest benefit to your mind and body.
