Susan Dendtler, MA

Susan Dendtler, MA, helps people find and work through barriers, both internal and external, to reaching their full expression of self. Sometimes these barriers take the form of anxiety or depression, stressful life events, or a feeling of stagnation. She believes that we are all born with a great capacity for love, creativity, joy, and kindness, and she works with individuals and couples to process emotions, heal, and overcome barriers.

Susan is certified in Trust Based Relational Interventions and Trauma Informed Care, and has extensive experience working with children, teens, and parents who have experienced trauma, grief, and loss. She practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for 5 years before transferring her license to Tennessee. During the transfer process, she is working under the supervision and guidance of Trey Holt, LPCMH, for continued professional growth. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200 hr) specializing in restorative practice and integrating yoga with mental health.

Susan embraces those of different cultures, gender, age, and sexual orientation, and actively strives to create a welcoming environment for all walks of life.
